Elizabeth was not only professional, but she was nurturing and took the time to get to know my daughter and tailored their work to her interests and abilities. As a teacher, I know this kind of dedication takes work but forming a relationship with your students is crucial to success. My daughter looked forward to her sessions and enjoyed her time with Elizabeth. As a result, she worked hard and made great progress.
After a year with Elizabeth, my daughter’s speech had improved. Not only did she sound better, but she could explain what she was doing differently. Therefore, when she later got an expander and braces, she was able to adjust her speech to compensate.
For the past two years, Elizabeth has also worked with several students in my class. She showed the same professionalism and dedication with them as she did with my daughter. I was able to see what the students worked on each week and reinforce those concepts in their school work. Elizabeth and I spoke frequently to strategize about these students in order to help them make as much progress as possible.
